Civil War Cannon Art #1, by Alex kovacs, Metal Wall Art, Sculpture – AK410
$21,570.00
DIMENSIONS: 73″ Wide, 30″ Tall and 2″ Deep. AVAILABILITY: Some of the sculptures are in stock and others are made to order. Either way, it will ship out in 1 to 2 weeks.
My sculptures are made of the highest grade industrial aluminum available. The transparent anodized enamel that I use is specially developed for aluminum. The colors are protected by the “lacquer” coating that is actually urethane, which blocks out the harmful ultra violet rays of the sun The hangers and the spacers are hand fabricated from aluminum also and designed to line up the plates accurately on the multi panel wall sculptures.
The “swirling” designs are hand grinded into the metal. My famous “holographic” effects that I developed in 2006 and perfected in color in this metal art form, comes to life at any light source one can imagine of, no matter how weak it is. This is a main feature in my work that is duplicated worldwide. Just about all metal artists who decided to hijacked my style, my designs and technique, are trying to profit from this popular “merchandise… 🙂
If this sculpture is available, I’ll send it on its way the next day after it is purchased and paid for. If it is sold already and you like to have one, I will make it up for you. If you need any changes done to it, let me know. I could not possibly “clone” it the exact same way again, due to the fact that I make them freehand. However it is safe to say, that the one you will get will be nicer than the sculpture in this listing, due to that I am getting better at it as the time flies by. The average sculpture takes about ten days to complete before it is in the mail, which also includes the drying time. You can feel safe and secure when purchasing my work, for the past 50 years or so I had only satisfied customers. Also, PayPal has a 100% money return policy and is the safest money transfer institution worldwide.

Cannon Art
About this unusual art of Alex Kovacs:
I look upon my work, every single cannon paintings of mine as being a small colorful universe… Who have not heard of the “Big Bang” theory? The ear shattering noise my cannon makes is about as loud of an explosion as you will ever experience without crossing the line of doing something illegal … : ) I believe I must be the only human being, who ever came to even close to be able to claim of creating his own universe, literally starting with a “Big Bang”…..! Let my paintings speak for themselves. If there is anything else I can add to it, is that by using every color in the spectrum of the rainbow, I’m trying to interpret my wish of a universal harmony of togetherness for all of us, no matter who we are, how we look or what is our origin… What makes these cannon paintings even more exciting, is that I add metal shapes to it in the form of planets to create a true three dimensional look of my art. The holographic grinding techniques in color on the metal was first developed by myself in 2006. I called it ” Rainbow Art “. Since then my unique work is recognized worldwide, may they be in the form of wall mounted art or standing eight foot tall outdoor sculpture designs… Dozens of so called “artist” claim the style of my work as their own “original” since. I challenge anyone to prove me different, but every one of these colorful metal wall sculptures you see right here on eBay or on the internet is an imitation of the style of my original colorful technique and work, even though that the “artist” is doing his/her best to make it somewhat different looking… Metal shops are mass-producing my colorful “rainbow” designs by the thousands either in this country or elsewhere… but mostly what you see on the internet are coming from places like India, or imported directly from China… All you need to do is to Google “metal wall art”! Yes folks, I have mixed feelings about this, somewhat I’m proud of the fact that all these people are walking in my shadow, but it is very frustrating at the same time. Well, if I did not tell you, you would not know of any of this… I’m still waiting for the day, when even one of them would mention, that they got inspired by my work… judging the character of these people, I do not think of holding my breath… : )
Those of you who may ask why the cannon?
Well… are Jackson Pollack’s techniques come even close to the uniqueness of my banging away, either with the cannon, or with my six shooter?… : )
Do I represent, or mean anything by choosing this unusual method?
Yes, first let me tell you that my heart is heavy by thinking of the human suffering in the many war raged countries of our planet… The weapons of aggression and destruction that I symbolically use to create my art with, are instrumental to express my wish that everyone may live in peace and togetherness, just as the stars and and the planets co-exist in the Universe…
What does all of this have to do with the Civil War era?
Again, my love of freedom, peace and the thought of a Peaceful United World is influenced by this great historical period. As most of us know, one of our greatest leaders ever, President Lincoln saved and united this country by winning the Civil War. We would not have the United States today as we know it, if it was not for the determination and the leadership of Mr. Lincoln. Not to mention, that he ended the slavery also and freed all those suffering people whose only guilt was the color of their skin… So you see, through my work I try to symbolize the possibility of the wisdom so many of us share worldwide, that my dreams could be achieved. I would like to add that as we sit down in front of a painting and let our imagination wander, I only hope that my art, every one of my “Little Universes” may assist your thoughts on your intellectual journey… Let it fly!

Alex Kovacs

Shipping and Return Policy
FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE!!!In the USA, all sculptures will be shipped using UPS Ground. For international orders the packages will be sent using USPS Priority International Mail service.I’ll do my best to have your sculpture in the mail for you as soon as possible. I need about six to twelve days for building it, depending on the item. Also, you will receive pictures of your sculpture as soon as it is completed.I do not accept returns, however if you are unsatisfied with your sculpture for any reason, send it back to me within five days of receiving it, and I will exchange it for another one. For the shipping expenses of the exchange you shall be responsible. Please make sure you save the original box the item arrived in and pack it up the same safe way that I did when it was sent to you. Please make sure that you insure the package, since I can not take responsibility for damages that the sculpture might have suffered from mishandling during the shipping.PLEASE READ: I do care a lot about getting the sculpture out to you and of course in a perfect shape. It is carefully dusted and inspected by myself… however there are little imperfections, small dust specks in the lacquer or tiny droplets from the “spitting” spray gun. These are some of the things that are out of my (or anybodys) control. Sometimes the material leaves the factory with small dents and marks, where I do my best to fix it up… all these are no worse than what you could see on any artwork even at a museum. As you will see, I go out of my way to pack your sculpture up for you safely. If the box has no signs of damage when you received it, then the art work was not damaged either. I will not take responsibility for any damage that happens to the sculpture after it was removed from the box. Recently one of the customers who purchased my work through an art gallery claimed that the box was not damaged, yet they had already cut it up and thrown it out, before they realized a few days later that the corner of the plate was curled up about one inch diagonally… Therefore, guess who is at fault? Of course me!!! I have vinyl flooring at my shop, yet the corner was roughly gauged by either a stone, or a rough cement floor. I think you get the message. Please be careful handling these plates, do not drop them if possible. Of course if it happens, I will do my best to repair it. Yet there will be a fair charge (not based on profit) and you have to cover the shipping expenses. Also, please make sure that you are using some kind of anchor screws, (you can buy them at any hardware store) to hang the sculpture. A small nail, especially in a plaster board wall might get loose, and the sculpture could fall off…Guess I bored you long enough, thank you very much for supporting the arts…:) Sincerely, Alex Kovacs WHILE SHOPPING ON THIS WEBSITE, YOUR PRIVACY IS ALWAYS GUARANTEED.
